The preliminary task is to make a magazine cover with a theme which is based around school. I hope to achieve a creative and innovative magazine cover which resembles the theme of school well. The requirements of the magazine cover are that all images must be original and none must be taken from the internet, it must be a school magazine and it must be edited in Photoshop.
The idea I have for my school magazine is to base the theme around exam stress and the target audience will be about students in school who are taking exams soon. I have made this choice because it is relevant and it helps students relate to other students and relieve some of their exam stress. The idea for my school magazine is to make it fun and appealing to school students I hope to make students want to read about exam stress and tips which will be offered in the magazine.
The purpose of my magazine will be to entertain and give them a fun insight in to the magazine and relieve some stress buy giving them an outlet of exam information. If it was a real magazine I would distribute it every month before the exam period to make the magazine more unique and this will also make it easier to add more information as more things can happen every month rather than every week.
I hope to attract the students by including a lot of information in each issue and also provide an exam guide to help them through the exam period, students will want to read the magazine because they will want to see how other students are coping with the exam stress and they will also want to see the exam guide. I will experiment with the typeface and the color of my magazine cover to see what will look best and what will be more attractive to students.
